Updates & more giveaways!

Sorry its been a few days....I'm still recovering! Princess Bear's (PB) birthday party was on Saturday.....at Chuck E Cheese. Next time I mention going there on a weekend please just shoot me on sight!!! That could quite possibly be the longest 3 hours of my life! On the upside of it Princess Bear had a wonderful time (other than when Chuck E himself was around & then it was back under the table!). My friend Monika gave PB a baby Strawberry Shortcake doll. PB has taken that everywhere the past few days. Up to and including.............drum roll please.....

Her first day of kindergarten. Today....enter sobs here.



My baby isn't a baby anymore!!! PB got sick yesterday. The kiddo made it through the whole summer relatively healthy and then the day before school gets an all out sinus infection. I think its because her allergies when into overdrive. She spend most of Sunday outside swimming with Maria's kids. She woke up yesterday just a complete little snotball (I say this with lots of love but seriously the kid was dripping, shooting and doing some other disgusting things with snot!). I gave her some Benadryl and was hoping for the best. I knew that I was in trouble when she took an over 3 hour nap. She woke up running 100.1 (everyone in this family runs very low and her average is 97.1). I was on the phone with the Dr's office ASAP. PB had a really rough night but wanted to go to school today so I decided to give it a shot. It was a short day anyway. All went well until I got to school to pick her up. I ran into my friend Nicole who told me that Kiernan had done very well that morning...yeah!!! Then they send parents of kindergarteners into the gym to pick up their kids. No Princess Bear. I look at Nicole and ask her if she sees PB anywhere. Nope. Trying not to let a full panic set in I finally get the teachers attention enough to find out where PB is. They sent her over to the Round (the airconditioned part of the building). PB said school was "fine". Ok...I guess all is well that ends well!
